He wanted the speed racer theme this year and boy was I lucky to find a deal on all of the goods. He received a lot of gift cards and money as well as WII games, remote cars and some clothes. He is ready to go shopping!!

Where have you been?

Sorry we have not been around for a while. My camera has not worked so I feel that I need pictures in order to post. I have borrowed Jakes camera so I can include some updated pictures of the kids taken today before Church. We have been busy again with school and soccer. Jake has practice now 2 night a week and Ben has one night and then we have 2 games on Saturdays. Most of our time has been consumed with that. I have been staying busy with Emma and I have started babysitting on Thursday's for a neighbor. I have also become a member and am the PTA Homeroom Chairman for Negley Elementary. When school started I was very busy getting that all organized. My jewelry business is picking up which is very exciting. Jakes job is going well and keeping him busy. Emma and myself are making a trip to Ohio this Thursday to see the new baby and of course visit the family. We will be coming back to Texas on the 20th. I will try and atleast add a bit here and there on my blog. I have alos included a little show of Ben's soccer game! I will get more of those once I get back from Ohio.

We are not missing!!!

I know it has been a while and yes we are back in Texas safe and sound! I have just been very busy getting back into the swing of things! When we got home on the 8th of July, I had until the 15th to get back in order and then get ready to leave again. I went to Ft. Worth for a National Rally with my business Premier Designs Jewelry! I had a great time and it was very motivating. I came home on the 19th and then on the 20th prepared for my One Year Annivesary show for my business. So now we are getting ready for back to school on August 25th. Boy the summer went fast. When I have some more time to add some pictures of our summer I will. It is going to take a while to go thru all of the pics. I will try to update as soon I can!!

Trip Home!!!

Well we made it to OHIO all in one piece!!!!! We had a nice day on Friday driving to Memphis, TN. We made it in about 10 1/2 hours with only 3 stops and we only "almost" ran out of gas once. Without going into to many details my car said there was "0" miles left to empty but we managed (with a lot of praying) that we could find a gas station. Let's just put it this way, my tank holds 23 gallons and when I filled up I put in 22.97 gallons. I WAS FREAKING OUT in ARKANSAS!! The only question we were asked on the first day was are we still in Texas, then are we still in Arkansas, then are we in Texas..... that went on and on. My sister and I were talking about what the Capitol of Arkansas was so we asked Jake Jr. "Jake, what is the Capitol of Arkansas", his reply, "A". We laughed so hard!!!!
Our second day was very long or it seemed so. We lost an hour because of the time change so it felt like we were in the car for hours, 11 to be exact. We went thru a storm in Columbus that appeared to be the start of a funnel cloud that passed right across the interstate as we were driving towards it, so that was a little scary. The rest of the way was rain and wind and a temperature drop of 30 degrees. That is right it is 60 degrees here. I have to admit it is a bit refreshing since we have been in the 90's for months in Texas. I won't have pics until we are back in Texas so you will have to enjoy my writing skills, HA HA!!!
